Discover the Majestic Borobudur and Prambanan Temples: Icons of Indonesia’s Spiritual Heritage

Explore the ancient wonders of Borobudur and Prambanan—two of Southeast Asia’s most magnificent temple complexes. From the intricate stone carvings of the Buddhist Borobudur, the world's largest temple, to the towering spires of the Hindu Prambanan, these UNESCO World Heritage sites offer a glimpse into Indonesia’s rich cultural and spiritual history.

Dress Code when we visit Borobudur - Prambanan:

When visiting Borobudur and Prambanan temples, we recommend dressing modestly out of respect for these sacred sites. While there is no strict dress code, covering your shoulders and wearing respectful clothing is highly encouraged. If you do wear shorts, a complimentary sarong will be provided at the entrance for your convenience and to honor the temple’s traditions—this applies to both Borobudur and Prambanan.

Your Borobudur structure ticket includes upanat, a special footwear cover required when exploring the upper terraces to preserve the ancient stonework.

To protect yourself from the tropical sun, please apply sunscreen, and we suggest bringing a hat and sunglasses for added comfort during your visit.

Meals during the trip (Breakfast/Lunch) :

As mentioned in the brochure, our price does not include meals (breakfast and lunch). You can enjoy meals near the Borobudur or Prambanan temples, where several local restaurants are available. Please note that prices may be slightly higher than in the city, as these locations are popular tourist areas.

We will also make a lunch stop at a restaurant after visiting Borobudur, but whether you choose to eat is entirely up to you.

You are welcome to bring your own packed food if you prefer. Additionally, if your accommodation already includes breakfast, we recommend discussing with the accommodation staff to arrange a breakfast box for you—this can be a convenient and enjoyable way to start your day.
